What do you do in the band?
I occasionaly keep time by playing the drums. and operate "Ipaul" our backing track gizmo. (It's called "IPaul" as its a load of MP3s of Paul, our Keyboard player, loaded on to an IPOD)

What gear do you use?
Tama Starclassic performer 5 piece kit with Sabian aax, and Zildjian custom cymbals

Which are your favourite songs that the band cover? 
The Jive Baggy medley. 90s Indie mix - (All Together Now, I'm Free, Groovy Train & Step On, all rolled in to one song!)

What is you favourite song of all time?
Way too many answers to this; off the top of my head I'd say White man in Hammersmith Palais ( The Clash), In a Big Country (Big Country) The Electric Co, (U2), My Hero,( Foo Fighters) etc,etc,etc,

Who are your musical favourites or influences?
70's vintage punk rock, 80s pop rock (U2, Big Country, Simple Minds, Alarm, etc) and 90s Indie.

Who are your favourite Drummers?
Topper Headon (The Clash),  Mark Brzezicki (Big Country)

What's the best thing about being in the Polar Bears?
Getting paid to do something I really love doing, every gig is a social outing with friends.

What's the worst?
Getting knackered on weekends when I'm working 12 hour shifts and gigging.

Which is your favourite current gig?
Most ONeill's gigs in Cardiff, good enthusiastic crowds, mad for it!

What's the best or most memorable gig you ever did with the Polar Bears?
Mmm, The wedding in Cork was a good one, and definitely the Halloween night in Llantwit Major (Dick as Bertie Bassett) -  a classic!

And the most forgettable?
I've forgotten it! Oh! The night Paul (Keyboards) dropped our lighting rig down on my head, a bank holiday in Cody's in Bridgend I think. He was on a roll that night, snapped Hefs new guitar in half as well!

What's your proudest moment so far?
When we played for Josie's (Daughter) 18th in front of most of our family and friends. Thanks guys.

And your most embarrassing moment?

First night we used "IPaul" (Paul Scott was there). First Song - Elevation.
No sound check =  no click -track = oops.
