What is Vixxi?

What is Vixxi?

Vixxi is the technology behind everything we do at The Polar Bears.

If you've looked at our pricing and thought "how is £3.33 per video even possible?" Vixxi is the answer. It's our proprietary YouTube data platform, and it's the reason we can offer the services we offer at the prices we charge. Not a reporting dashboard you occasionally check. Not a bolt-on analytics feature. The actual infrastructure that our video optimisation, livestreaming, and reporting services run on.

Vixxi pulls together data from YouTube, Google Ads, and Google Ad Manager into one system. It processes over 50 billion minutes of content every month. And it's what allows a relatively lean team to manage 2 million+ videos across client channels without the quality dropping off a cliff.

Why Did We Build It?

YouTube generates an absurd amount of data. And if you're managing more than a handful of channels, keeping track of it all becomes a genuine operational problem.

Here's what most YouTube management looks like without something like Vixxi: you've got YouTube Studio open in one tab, Google Ads in another, Ad Manager in a third. Maybe a spreadsheet for scheduling. Possibly a fourth tool for competitor tracking. None of these systems talk to each other. So someone on your team (usually the most junior person, because nobody senior wants to do it) spends hours every week copying data between platforms, trying to build a picture of what's actually happening.

We got tired of that. Vixxi was built to replace the patchwork, not add to it. One system. All the data sources connected. Every decision is informed by the full picture instead of a fragment.

It wasn't built to be a product we sell separately. It was built because we literally couldn't do the work without it.

So What Does It Actually Do Day to Day?

Vixxi collects and processes video metadata across every client channel, automatically, every day. Performance metrics, metadata quality, audience behaviour, ad revenue. All of it stays current and ready to act on.

That constant processing is what makes the interesting stuff possible. When you're sitting on 50 billion minutes of analysed content, you start seeing things that are invisible at the individual channel level. Certain title structures that consistently drive higher click-through in specific niches. Thumbnail approaches that outperform in one territory but underperform in another. Publishing windows that actually move the needle versus the ones that "best practices" articles have been recycling since 2019.

Those patterns feed directly into how we optimise videos. It's not guesswork. It's not "here's what worked for a completely different channel three years ago." It's data from an enormous, constantly updated pool, applied to your specific context.

On the reporting side, clients get a consolidated view of their YouTube performance alongside their Google Ads and Ad Manager data. One place. On demand. Not a monthly PDF that arrives two weeks late and sits in someone's inbox unread.

What Does the Vixxi Base Fee Get You?

You need a Vixxi base fee to access Vixxi's services. It's the access pass that switches everything on.

Once it's active, you unlock three things. Video optimisation, which is the metadata work on individual videos, all informed by Vixxi's data. Livestreams, where Vixxi handles the technical infrastructure for managed livestreaming at scale. And reporting and analytics, the consolidated dashboard that actually tells you something useful. Every Vixxi plan includes monthly credits to keep your video content consistently optimised, plus a free 14-day livestream trial so you can experience the full power of live content, no commitment required.

The base fee scales with your video volume. A channel managing up to 25,000 videos pays less than an enterprise operation running half a million. That's because the processing infrastructure genuinely costs more at higher volumes. It's not arbitrary tiering.

What you're paying for with the base fee is the specialised processing and security infrastructure that transforms raw data into something you can act on. The foundation. Everything else sits on top of it.

"Can't I Just Use YouTube Studio?"

You can. And for a lot of channels, you probably should.

YouTube Studio is free and it covers the basics well. If you're managing one channel and publishing a few times a week, it gives you enough data to make reasonable decisions. Nobody needs a platform like Vixxi to check their subscriber count.

Where it falls short is scale and integration. YouTube Studio only shows YouTube data. So if you’re running Google Ads campaigns? That lives somewhere else.

Monetising through Ad Manager? Somewhere else again.

Managing multiple channels? You're switching between each one individually, because there's no unified portfolio view.

There's also a difference between descriptive and prescriptive data. YouTube Studio tells you what happened. Vixxi helps figure out what to do next, because it's drawing on a dataset that spans far beyond any single channel.

For a creator who publishes three videos a week and does their own editing, YouTube Studio is probably enough.

But for a media company managing dozens of channels across territories, it isn't even close.

How Vixxi Keeps Per-Video Costs So Low

We get asked about this a lot. Other agencies charge £20, £30, sometimes £50+ for the same video optimisation work. We charge as little as £3.33. People understandably want to know what the catch is.

There isn't one. The difference is how the work gets done.

A traditional agency assigns a human to your account. That human manually researches keywords, manually writes titles, manually tags videos, manually creates thumbnails. Every video, every time. The quality might be good, but you're paying for human hours on every single upload. That adds up fast.

Vixxi handles the data-heavy, repeatable parts of that process. Keyword analysis, metadata structuring, performance benchmarking, competitive comparison. All automated. Our team then focuses on the parts where human judgment actually matters: creative direction, quality control, strategic decisions, and the kind of contextual nuance that no platform gets right on its own.

Fewer manual hours per video. Same (or better) quality. That's what brings the cost down. And it's why the maths improves at scale.

Enterprise clients buying 300,000 credits get volume discounts up to 80%, because Vixxi's per-unit cost drops in a way that purely manual operations can't replicate.

Do I Have to Be a Big Channel to Use This?

No. And making Vixxi accessible to smaller channels is one of the things we're most focused on right now.

We've historically worked with big names. Hasbro, Banijay, Cineflix, Disney, LADbible. The kind of clients who manage thousands of videos and need serious infrastructure behind them. That's not changing.

But the whole point of building Vixxi the way we did is that it brings per-video costs down far enough to serve channels that traditional agencies would price out. Our distribution packages start at £1,100 and include a channel strategy and around 15 videos. That's a channel publishing three or four times a week getting access to the same data, the same platform, and the same optimisation methodology that powers work for some of the biggest channels on YouTube.

The technology doesn't know whether you have 500 subscribers or 5 million. It analyses your content the same way.

Getting Started

Vixxi isn't a standalone product you sign up for on a website. It's the technology running behind The Polar Bears' services. When you work with us, you're working with Vixxi, whether you think about it that way or not.

If you want to see what that looks like for your channel specifically, book a free strategy call. We'll look at where you are, where the gaps are, and whether our setup makes sense for your situation. Fifteen minutes, no pitch.
